He was such a fun DJ for our wedding!!!! He was super awesome at interacting with everyone at the wedding and made it a really fun night!! We loved him!

Parker is AMAZING! I got married almost a year ago and people still tell me how great he was. For me, The dancing was one of the most important aspects of my wedding day and Parker exceeding every expectation. It was the most fun dance party ever, all thanks to him! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. He crushed it.

Where DJ PBABY Began

A lot of people ask me, "Why did you start DJing?"

It all started back when I was 15 years old. My best friend who was like a brother to me, Nate Short, invited me to go dancing at a place called Studio 600 downtown in Salt Lake City. Now, I have always liked music and would always dance to be silly, but I had never been to a club or a place to go dancing and meet people ever in my life.

It was there I saw what a club was like. The loud music and the bright lights and the dance floor filled from wall to wall. It was there I saw Marcus Wing DJ for the very first time. I loved his style and the way he presented the music. It was so much fun and such a thrill to dance to. The way he got us to dance and to jump and to have a great time while we were there was so awesome. I knew that was something I wanted to do.

Nate and I went to all the parties we could every weekend for the next 4 years all throughout high school. We helped out Marcus with promoting his parties and it made us really want to become DJ’s together. We didn’t know anything about it, but we knew we loved music and that we had a good ear for it and that we could develop the talent to DJ if we worked hard enough.

We then promised each other after our missions, we would go all out and buy all of the equipment we needed to start a DJ business and work our way up to create music and to DJ parties and make our dreams come true.

I am older than Nate, so I went on my mission before he did. I had about 6 months in my mission when something terrible happened back home. Nate was involved in a tragic car accident in which he was flown from his seat and through the windshield where he landed on his head and was pronounced brain-dead on the scene. Luckily the paramedics were able to keep him alive and connect him to some machines long enough for his family to get to him and say goodbye to him before they let him go.

I don’t think I have ever cried so loud or for so long or have something hurt me so bad. He was all I could think about and it was is hard for me to get over this horrible accident. He was my brother and best friend and I told myself that when I got home from my mission, I would fulfill our dream and start DJing.

He is the reason I do this. I love seeing people react to the music when I play and mix it in a way they have never heard before. When people dance and go crazy to the music I play I know that Nate is smiling down from above, happy that I was able to make our dream come true.

I got home in March 2014 and about 6 months later I went and bought speakers, lights, and a mixer and got to work. Fast forward to today, I have been able to DJ for crowds up to 6,000 people and do over 700+ weddings and special events across the country.

I give thanks to Nate, Marcus, Branden Estrada, and many others who have helped me along the way to get where I am today.

I don’t DJ to make money from your wedding or to get well known from your corporate event, I do it because I love music and love making people happy and helping the people I play for no matter the venue or event have an experience they have never had before.

The two pictures above are some of the last ones I took with Nate and one of my best friends and brothers, Austin Levetan, who is also in the picture with us. We were the 3 amigos.
